This business was founded on the belief and requirement of First Aid in every household and business in Australia. The director was an Army medic for 6 years and travelled to Malaysia, Timor-Leste, Darwin, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, remote areas, and urban areas. In her experience, the basic interventions were always the ones that made the biggest difference in keeping somebody alive.
The aim of First Class First Aid is to bring affordable, high-standard training to industries that require specialised skills such as oxygen resuscitation. Our wide range of courses can be contextualised to your specific needs so that you are best prepared for unfortunate circumstances.
Our other pride and joy is our remote first aid experience, having lived through the tropics and the snow, working internationally and more locally in different areas across Australia brings unique challenges. In particular, being in Timor highlighted just how many more considerations need to be taken into account when planning an activity that takes you more than an hour away from an elevated level of medical services.
We would also like to mention that the director founded this business in conjunction with her family. Family is the whole reason for turning this business into a workplace – so she can spend more time with them than she otherwise has been able to due to work commitments.
